GSI (CEO Park Hyung-mi) unveiled its ice-cold and hot water purifier, "Icelo," at the Korea Procurement Service Expo 2025.

GSI specializes in producing both hot and cold water purifiers. It possesses a wide range of technologies related to ice purifiers, particularly its unrivaled expertise in large-scale ice purifiers.

The "Icelo" ice-cold and hot water purifier unveiled at this exhibition is a highly efficient and eco-friendly product that simultaneously saves costs and protects the environment. Its greatest advantage is that it produces no water waste. It generates cold water during the ice-free process, a technology unique not only in Korea but also around the world.

CEO Park Hyung-mi explained, "Most ice purifiers discard purified water at a ratio of approximately 1:3 during the ice production process. This means that for every liter of ice produced, approximately 2-4 liters of water are drained and discarded. However, our product produces no water waste at all.“

The Icero recycles the cold water from ice production into ice and uses it as cold water for ice making. This allows for the reuse of water that would otherwise be drained, reducing the cost of water waste and achieving low carbon emissions through energy savings.

Since it requires no drainage, it can be easily installed anywhere and provides environmentally friendly, quantitative water dispensing. Recognized as an innovative, eco-friendly technology, it has been designated as an innovative product and is being used on a trial basis by various public institutions.

Made of stainless steel, resistant to contamination, corrosion, and bacteria, it prioritizes hygiene and ensures proper purification through three to four stages. The four-stage purification process, which combines a Sedbloc pre-carbon filter, a UF membrane fact filter, and a post-carbon block carbon filter, removes impurities and contaminants, including various microorganisms, while also ensuring a smooth, delicious water taste.

Furthermore, the real-time self-diagnosis function monitors and identifies program errors in real time, minimizing problems and quickly identifying them. Through self-diagnosis, the water purifier automatically identifies problems and automatically repairs them, reducing the need for cumbersome after-sales service requests.

Icero currently produces a wide range of products, from ultra-large ice water purifiers with 7L of cold water, 8L of hot water, and 5L of ice to compact household ice water purifiers with 1.4L of cold water, 1.3L of hot water, and 450g of ice. Large-capacity products are actively used in various public facilities, such as government offices, military bases, cafeterias, and school cafeterias. The company is expecting positive business results from the recent budget allocation for ice water purifier rentals for military bases.

GSI exports its products to Japan's Lixi Group and Singapore, and is actively targeting global markets, including Dubai, where it is currently receiving significant interest.
