[Promotional Article] Zero Water Waste, Eco-Friendly Ice-Cold Water Purifier "Icero" Certified as an Innovative Product That Sa

Eco-friendliness and energy conservation are two of the most emerging trends. In this regard, water purifiers are significantly behind the curve. While indispensable in our lives, water purifiers consume a surprising amount of energy and resources to produce clean water. Ice purifiers, in particular, have been criticized for their waste, consuming more water than the ice they produce, leading to widespread criticism. Conversely, warmer weather and increased convenience have led to a significant increase in demand and supply for ice purifiers, leading to the release of a diverse range of products. However, amidst this growing energy waste, a company is attracting significant attention for its innovative ice purifiers that reduce energy waste. We conducted an in-depth investigation into GSI (CEO Park Hyung-mi), the company behind this initiative.

Approximately 500 ice-cold and hot water purifiers delivered to military bases are expected to result in approximately 5 million liters of purified cold water being wasted annually.
The world's only ice-cold and hot water purifier, "Icelo," eliminates water waste during the ice-making process.
GS I, Inc. is a specialized ice-cold and hot water purifier company, constantly striving to provide clean water for a healthy life. Through new technology development and efficient system development, it produces top-quality ice-cold and hot water purifiers.
GS I, Inc. possesses a wide range of technologies related to ice-cold and hot water purifiers, particularly unrivaled in large-scale ice-cold and hot water purifiers. The "Icelo," an ice-cold and hot water purifier manufactured directly by GS I, utilizes highly efficient and environmentally friendly technology that simultaneously saves costs and protects the environment. Its greatest advantage is that it is the only product in Korea that eliminates water waste. Furthermore, it simultaneously produces cold water during the ice-making process, a technology unique not only in Korea but also in the world. GSI CEO Park Hyung-mi added, “Most ice purifiers discard purified water at a ratio of about 1:3 during the ice production process. This means that about 2 to 4 liters of water are drained and discarded to produce 1 liter of ice. However, our product does not waste any water at all.” Currently, stand-alone ice purifiers on the market can produce about 10 liters of ice per day, which means that 20 to 40 liters of water are wasted during the ice production process. Last year, a large company installed about 500 ice-cold and hot water purifiers at a military base, and it is estimated that about 5 million liters of purified cold water will be wasted annually, which is a huge waste. The loss is even greater when you consider the cost of supplying tap water, the cost of purifying it, the cost of energy used to cool the water, and the cost of sewage treatment. This is a huge waste of water resources as well as energy costs. On the other hand, GSI's large-capacity ice-cold and hot water purifier, IceRo, eliminates this wasteful water and energy consumption.

The fastest and most affordable way to produce ice, with no concerns about hygiene or safety!
Equipped with a smart self-diagnosis feature that diagnoses and automatically repairs errors.
IceRo recycles the cold water that has been converted into ice after it is produced, reusing it as cold water for ice-making. This allows the water originally drained to be reused, reducing water waste costs and achieving energy savings through low-carbon production. Because it requires no drainage, it can be installed easily anywhere. It also offers an eco-friendly, fixed-volume water dispenser, which can be customized by the user. The numerous advantages of GSI's product, mentioned above, have been recognized by the government as an innovative, eco-friendly technology, designated as a "Hyundai Product" and are currently being piloted by numerous public institutions.
IceRo offers numerous other advantages. The IceRo uses cold water for ice-making. This saves energy during the cooling process required for ice-making, and allows for faster ice production. Furthermore, the Finger Ever, which generates ice, is constructed of stainless steel, resistant to contamination, corrosion, and bacteria, with a high level of hygiene and safety in mind. Furthermore, the water purification process is conducted over three to four stages to ensure proper purification. This four-stage process, which combines a Sedblock pre-carbon filter, a UF membrane fact filter, and a post-carbon block carbon filter, not only removes impurities and contaminants like microorganisms, but also ensures a smooth, delicious water.
Icero also incorporates several features that enhance user convenience. One of these is a real-time self-diagnosis function. This function monitors and identifies program errors in real time, minimizing the occurrence of problems and quickly identifying and resolving issues. Through self-diagnosis, the water purifier identifies and automatically repairs any issues. The water purifier is equipped with an automatic recovery program, which automatically repairs any errors identified during the self-diagnosis process, eliminating inconvenience and reducing the need for after-sales service. Additionally, the company has implemented an engineer mode to expedite service when actual after-sales service is required, reducing after-sales service times.

Developing a diverse range of products, from ultra-large capacity ice water purifiers to ultra-compact home-use ice water purifiers,
Icero has been recognized internationally for its technological prowess, receiving government certification as an innovative product and selection for pilot purchases.
Icero currently produces a wide range of products, from ultra-large capacity ice water purifiers with 7L of cold water, 8L of hot water, and 5L of ice to compact home-use ice water purifiers with 1.4L of cold water, 1.3L of hot water, and 450g of ice. These large-capacity products are actively used in various public facilities, including government offices, military bases, cafeterias, and school cafeterias. The company anticipates positive business results from the recent budget allocation for ice water purifier rentals for military bases. GSI's technological prowess is widely recognized internationally. It garnered significant attention for successfully developing a product that met the demanding specifications required by the Japanese company Lixi Group. The technology cooled 35°C room temperature water to below 10°C at a rate of 1.2 liters per minute. Furthermore, the company exported the world's smallest compressor-powered ultra-compact direct-cooling water purifier to Singapore, and is currently attracting significant attention in Dubai, demonstrating its active commitment to the global market.
CEO Park Hyung-mi concluded her speech by stating, "GSI takes pride in its continuous advancements through proprietary technological development. We are developing products that fit the new paradigm and manufacturing even higher-quality water-related products. We will strive to provide our customers with a variety of safe, fast, and convenient drinking water products of the highest quality.“
